President vows to root out menace of terrorism

President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed Pakistan’s firm commitment to root out the menace of terrorism.

In a statement today, he appreciated security forces for foiling the terrorist attack on Bannu cantonment.

Paying homage to the martyred soldiers, he said our soldiers saved the nation from a big loss by taking timely action.

Condoling with the bereaved families, the President prayed for the higher ranks of martyrs.

He said the nation is proud of the sacrifices of its soldiers.
