President Zardari and Prime Minister Sharif Honor Police Martyrs on Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Police

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today paid homage to the police martyrs of Pakistan, recognizing their bravery and sacrifices in the line of duty, particularly in the fight against crime and terrorism.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders issued separate statements on Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Police, a day dedicated to remembering the valor of fallen police officers. President Zardari specifically praised the police force’s crucial role in combating terrorism, noting the lives lost in efforts to secure peace across various regions of the country.

Prime Minister Sharif reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the families of the deceased officers. He promised continued efforts to provide education and health facilities to the children of the martyrs and assured comprehensive care for their families, reflecting the nation’s gratitude for the sacrifices made by these heroes.
