Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has pledged to intensify efforts against terrorism in response to the recent martyrdom of four Pakistan Army jawans in South Waziristan, emphasizing the nation’s resolve to stand by its soldiers and combat extremist threats. The president’s remarks came following a deadly encounter that also resulted in the death of six militants.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari expressed deep condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers and lauded the bravery and sacrifices of the military personnel who risked their lives for the country’s security. He affirmed the government’s commitment to eradicate the threat of terrorism and praised the military’s successful actions against militants during the skirmish.
