President Zardari Summons Senate Session on Thursday

Islamabad, President Asif Ali Zardari has called a session of the Senate to convene on Thursday at 4 p.m., rescheduling the session previously set for Monday. The President’s summoning of the session is in accordance with Article 54 (1) of the Constitution.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the change in the Senate’s schedule is due to the President’s directive. The Senate session is a key part of Pakistan’s legislative process, where lawmakers discuss and debate various matters of national importance.
