Prime Minister Gilani declares Gilgit big city

Islamabad: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has been pleased to declare Gilgit as Big City for the purpose of House Rent Allowance and Conveyance Allowance following the announcement made by the Prime Minister during his visit to Gilgit on 29th September 2009.

This declaration was part of the Special Package for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan announced on that occasion.
