Prime Minister Gilani greets Somalia Counterpart on Independence Day

Islamabad: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has sent of message of greetings to the Prime Minister of Somalia, Mr. Mohamed Abdulahi Mohamed on their Independence Day falling on 1st July, 2011.

In his message, the Prime Minister said, “on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan and on my own behalf, I wish to convey our profound felicitations to Your Excellency and the people of the Federal Republic of Somalia on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day of Somalia.

Pakistan and Somalia enjoy excellent relations which I am confident will continue to grow from strength to strength in the years ahead.

I avail myself of this opportunity to express my best wishes for Your Excellency’s personal health and happiness and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of the Federal Republic of Somalia”.
