Prime Minister Sharif Vows to Remember May 9 Criminals, Commits to Development Goals

Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the lasting impact of the May 9 incidents, categorizing them as a pivotal moment that distinguished two political ideologies: those who prioritize the state over politics and those who jeopardize the state for political gain.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, on the anniversary of the disturbances, Prime Minister Sharif used the social media platform X to remind the public of the unresolved issues surrounding those events. He asserted that the memory of the perpetrators, who attacked the state to advance their political motives, remains fresh in the national consciousness.

The Prime Minister also reiterated his commitment to pushing forward the nation’s developmental agenda and ensuring a prosperous future for upcoming generations, highlighting this direction as a path away from the turmoil of the past.
