Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Attend World Economic Forum Special Meeting in Riyadh

Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will arrive in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday to participate in a special meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on Global Cooperation, Growth, and Energy. The Prime Minister’s attendance at the event underscores Pakistan’s commitment to engaging in international discussions on key global issues.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the invitation to the meeting was extended by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud, along with the founder and chief executive of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab. The Prime Minister is expected to share Pakistan’s perspectives on a range of topics, including global health, financial technologies, information technology, inclusive growth, regional cooperation, and the balanced use of energy.

On the sidelines of the event, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will hold meetings with important world leaders, heads of international organizations, and other prominent figures. These discussions aim to foster international cooperation and explore opportunities for collaboration on various global challenges.

The Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, who will participate in the WEF sessions and support the Prime Minister in his engagements with other world leaders.

The special meeting provides a platform for Pakistan to contribute to global dialogue and strengthen its relationships with other countries and international organizations.
