Punishment to Capitol Hill attackers in US shows difference b/w democratic protest and attacks on state: Marriyum

Islamabad, May 26, 2023 (PPI-OT): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says the punishment awarded to the mastermind and other culprits behind the attack on the Capitol Hill in the United States shows the difference between democratic protest and attacks on the state.

In a tweet on Friday, she said no state tolerates the desecration of national symbols by violating the constitution and law even if it happens in the United States, United Kingdom or Pakistan. The Minister said pleaders and patrons of armed gangsters have a got a suitable reply right from the United States.
