Punjab Police Compensation Committee Approves Funds for Injured Officers

Lahore, Following directives from Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Compensation Award Committee convened at the Central Police Office to allocate additional funds for the treatment of police personnel injured in the line of duty.

According to Punjab Police, the meeting resulted in the approval of significant financial support for several officers, ensuring that they receive the necessary medical treatments include allocations of two lakh rupees each to five police constables from various districts, demonstrating the department’s commitment to the welfare of its personnel. IG Punjab emphasized the importance of departmental support for officers injured during encounters and other duty-related incidents, instructing regional police officers and district police officers to closely monitor and facilitate the medical care of these officers.
