Punjab Police Takes Action on Muzaffargarh Domestic Violence Case

Lahore, The Punjab Police, under the direction of Inspector General Dr. Usman Anwar, is actively investigating a disturbing case of domestic violence that led to the death of a woman in Muzaffargarh. The case has garnered attention due to the severity of the allegations involving the woman’s in-laws.

According to Punjab Police, IG Dr. Usman Anwar has requested a detailed report from the Regional Police Officer of Dera Ghazi Khan and has directed the District Police Officer of Muzaffargarh to personally supervise the investigation. Dr. Anwar emphasized that such incidents of violence and killing are intolerable, and strict legal action is warranted against those found responsible. This directive underlines the commitment of the Punjab Police to uphold justice and address violence against women with rigorous legal measures.
