Quetta Master Plan Discussed at Balochistan Civil Services Academy

Quetta, The Balochistan Civil Services Academy (BCSA) hosted the Urban Unit of Lahore for a special session focused on the newly developed Quetta Master Plan (QMP). The session, part of the third Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC), was aimed at educating participants about sustainable urban development strategies.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Dr. Hafeez Ahmad Jamali, Director General of BCSA, led the briefing and provided an in-depth analysis of the QMP. His presentation covered the significant aspects of master planning and the innovative approaches incorporated into the QMP to address urban challenges and future growth in Quetta.

The session not only highlighted the critical role of master planning in urban sustainability but also served as a knowledge-sharing platform, with Dr. Jamali receiving a commemorative shield from the Urban Unit in recognition of his contributions to the project. The event underscored the ongoing collaboration between various entities to enhance urban planning and development in the region.
