Quetta Minister Labels May 9 Incident a ‘Dark Day’ for Pakistan, Calls for Punishment

Quetta, Provincial Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development Bakht Muhammad Kakar addressed the May 9 incident as a profoundly regrettable moment in Pakistan’s history, emphasizing the severity of the attacks on national assets and the need for stringent punishment of those involved.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Minister Kakar described the events of May 9 as unprecedented in their scope and impact, involving damage to public, private, historical, and military properties that tarnished the nation’s reputation.

He denounced these acts as part of a larger conspiracy aimed at destabilizing the country, orchestrated to satisfy external adversaries of Pakistan. Kakar reiterated the unity of the Pakistani people and their support for the country’s institutions, crediting them with the resilience to withstand and counter such threats to national security.
