Quetta Ombudsman Orders Resolution in Agricultural Department Employment Dispute

Quetta: The Balochistan provincial ombudsman, Nazar Baloch, has ordered the Agriculture Research Wing to respond to a complaint filed by Bilal Ahmed, concerning employment and salary disputes with the Department of Finance and Accounts.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Bilal Ahmed lodged a complaint against the Director General of Finance and Accounts in Quetta, alleging that despite receiving his official appointment order, his joining report was rejected and his salary withheld. Following a preliminary review, the ombudsman initiated a formal investigation, resulting in a directive that led to the acceptance of Ahmed’s joining report and the assurance of his pending salary release by the Finance Department of Turbat district.

The investigation, led by Provincial Ombudsman Director Saeed Shahwani, concluded with the resolution of the complaint, earning commendation for the ombudsman’s effective intervention from the complainant, Bilal Ahmed.
