Quetta: Prompt action by the office of the Provincial Ombudsman Balochistan, Nazarbaloch, has addressed a critical water supply issue in the Gul Muhammad area, restoring access to clean drinking water for its residents. This resolution comes after locals reported the inactivity of the community’s tube well, which had disrupted their water supply.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, residents had previously reached out to the Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA) but saw no remedial action, prompting them to seek help from the provincial ombudsman. Responding to their grievances, Ombudsman Nazarbaloch issued immediate instructions to the relevant departments, emphasizing that access to clean water is a fundamental right that must be urgently addressed.
The intervention led to the quick reactivation of the tube well, significantly alleviating the hardships faced by the local population. In gratitude, the Kali Gul Muhammad Welfare Society issued a letter of thanks to the ombudsman, acknowledging the swift response that resolved their water-related issues.
