Quetta to Experience Intense Heatwave, Temperatures Soar

Quetta, The Meteorological Center Balochistan has forecasted a severe heatwave to continue affecting most parts of the province in the coming days. Residents can expect extremely hot and dry conditions with daytime temperatures reaching critical levels.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the weather on Wednesday is expected to hit a scorching 4 degrees above normal daytime temperatures, maintaining a trend of intense heat. The forecast for Thursday also shows no relief, with hot and dry conditions prevailing across most districts.

The past 24 hours have already seen extremely high temperatures in several areas, with Sabi reaching 48 degrees Celsius, followed by Turbat at 46 degrees, and Lasbela closely behind. The persistent high temperatures pose significant health risks, and authorities advise the public to take necessary precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses.
