According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting will be chaired by Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad, the Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee. In addition to the central committee’s gathering, zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will also hold meetings at their respective locations to observe the crescent moon, which signals the start of Ramazan.
