Karachi: Sakrand Sugar Mills Limited has concluded its Board of Directors meeting on July 30, 2024, where it was decided that no dividends or bonus shares will be distributed for the half-year period ending June 30, 2024.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the board meeting, held in Karachi, resulted in several key financial decisions. Notably, the company will not issue any cash dividends, remaining consistent with its previous interim dividends, which were also set at Rs. NIL per share. Additionally, there will be no issuance of bonus shares or rights shares for the period, maintaining the status quo from previous interim bonus shares.
The decisions come amid the company’s efforts to manage its resources during the ongoing financial period. The financial results for the period ending June 30, 2024, have been documented and are available in Annexure “A”. These results will be further detailed in the quarterly report, which is set to be transmitted through the Pakistan Unified Corporate Reporting System (PUCARS) within the specified timeframe.
