Sapphire Fibres Limited Announces Financial Results for Q3 2024

Lahore, Sapphire Fibres Limited reported its financial results for the third quarter ended March 31, 2024. The results, both standalone and consolidated, were disclosed following a board meeting held on April 29, 2024.

In the standalone results for the nine months ended March 31, 2024, Sapphire Fibres Limited posted net sales of Rs 34,952,746,532, compared to Rs 33,355,434,882 in the corresponding period of the previous year. The cost of sales was recorded at Rs 30,708,211,025, resulting in a gross profit of Rs 4,244,535,507. The company reported a profit after taxation of Rs 1,677,448,631 with basic and diluted earnings per share at Rs 81.15.

For the third quarter alone, the company’s net sales amounted to Rs 12,053,752,569 with a gross profit of Rs 1,416,254,626. The profit after taxation for the quarter was Rs 495,574,253, and earnings per share were Rs 23.97.

The consolidated results for the nine months showed net sales of Rs 47,608,609,290, with a cost of sales amounting to Rs 41,576,153,561. The gross profit stood at Rs 6,032,455,729. The profit after taxation was reported at Rs 2,438,895,615, with earnings per share attributable to shareholders of the parent company at Rs 91.86.

In the quarter, consolidated net sales were Rs 13,300,220,976, resulting in a gross profit of Rs 2,048,011,572. The profit after taxation for this period was Rs 697,478,935, with earnings per share at Rs 23.87.
