Senate Committee Focuses on Challenges in Less Developed Areas

Islamabad: The Senate Functional Committee on Problems of Less Developed Areas convened today at the Parliament House, chaired by Senator Agha Shahzaib Durrani, to address the persistent challenges facing Pakistan’s less developed regions.

According to Senate of Pakistan, the meeting was crucial in formulating strategic approaches to enhance infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities in these areas. The committee discussed various legislative and policy measures aimed at bridging the development gap between different regions of the country.

The session highlighted the need for increased investment and focused attention on ensuring that the benefits of national growth reach all corners of Pakistan, particularly those that have historically been marginalized.
