Senate Elections in Pakistan Scheduled for Tuesday

Islamabad, The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced that polling for thirty Senate seats will take place on Tuesday. This follows the recent confirmation of eighteen candidates who have been returned unopposed for seats in Balochistan and Punjab.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the upcoming elections will fill the remaining seats in the Senate, with polling set to occur in the National Assembly, Punjab Assembly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, and Sindh Assembly. This electoral process is part of the routine democratic renewal, ensuring the representation of various provinces in the country’s upper house of Parliament.
