SIFC Launches Initiatives to Innovate Pakistan’s Agriculture and Livestock Sectors

Islamabad, The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has embarked on an ambitious journey to transform Pakistan’s agriculture and livestock industries through the introduction of the Green Corporate Initiative (GCI) and Green Corporate Livestock Initiative (GCLI). These initiatives are designed to modernize these vital sectors with advanced technologies to enhance production efficiency, crucial for the country’s food security.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the GCI and GCLI aim to leverage precision farming techniques to achieve higher output with reduced material use. This approach not only seeks to lower operational costs but also to significantly boost revenue for the sectors. The emphasis on innovation within agriculture and livestock through these initiatives reflects SIFC’s commitment to addressing food security challenges while promoting sustainable practices within these industries.
