Sindh Establishes Task Force to Combat Organized Crime, Karachi

Karachi, In a significant move to curb organized crime, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has established a provincial task force. This new initiative aims to systematically dismantle criminal networks across Sindh, with a structured approach to law enforcement and intelligence gathering.

According to Sindh Police, the task force, chaired by IG Memon, includes high-ranking officials such as the DIG Special Branch Sindh, DIG Crime/Investigation Sindh, DIG Headquarters Sindh, and AIG Operations Sindh. This team is tasked with notifying police officers known for their integrity to join range-wise teams, which will operate under the strategic direction of Additional IGC CTD Sindh and the intelligence support of DIG Special Branch.

The Provincial Task Force against Organized Crime is mandated to launch operations against criminal operatives and their facilitators province-wide. It will conduct raids, gather actionable intelligence, and maintain a robust action plan to eradicate organized crime networks. Moreover, the task force will regularly update the IGP Sindh on its progress, ensuring a transparent and accountable approach to crime-fighting efforts in the region.
