Sindh Governor and Rawit Hilal Committee Chairman Discuss National Unity and Youth Development

Karachi, Maulana Abdul Khair Azad, the central chairman of the Rawit Hilal Committee, met with Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori at the Governor House to discuss the role of religious scholars in national unity and the creation of a welfare state, among other issues.

According to Sindh Governor House, the meeting concluded with an agreement to hold an Interfaith Harmony Conference in August at the Governor House. Governor Tesori announced that 100 camels would be sacrificed at the Governor House during Eid-ul-Adha. Following the meeting, Maulana Abdul Khair Azad and Governor Tesori visited the IT marquee, where students warmly welcomed Maulana Azad. The governor highlighted the success of free IT courses, stating that many young people are now earning substantial incomes and expressing hope that they will continue to prosper.

Maulana Azad praised the governor’s initiatives, noting the importance of collaboration for Pakistan’s development and prosperity. He emphasized the significance of youth in this process and welcomed the expansion of IT courses to six more districts. The visit included an inspection of ration bags under the “Powerful Pakistan” initiative and a tour of the Bell of Hope, where Governor Tesori explained its objectives.
