Sindh Governor Mehtab Chawla participated in the final match of Veterans Hockey Tournament

Karachi, April 11, 2023 (PPI-OT):Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori participated in the final match of Mehtab Chawla Veterans Hockey Tournament. Hockey legend Islahuddin Siddiqui was also present on this occasion. The Governor of Sindh distributed prizes to the winning team and the players who showed outstanding performance. Governor Sindh said that Olympian Islahuddin is the pride of the entire nation, his services as a player, captain and coach are immense.

He further said that steps will be taken to promote hockey and attract students to hockey. He said that the young players should take full advantage of Islahuddin’s skills, fans have learned a lot from Islahuddin’s book Dash Through My Life. He said that steps must be taken to bring out hockey talent.
