Karachi, June 08, 2016 (PPI-OT):The Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Asad Ashraf Malik handed over a cheque of Rs.949,783.43/- to the retired Deputy Director of KMC Muhammad Ahmadullah Khan at his office. According to the details, the complainant in his complaint on 27.1.2016 requested the Ombudsman about the injustice by KMC with regard to non-payment of services dues and enhanced pension to the complainant who was retired from service on 8-11-1989.
The Ombudsman issued the notice to the KMC and directed to submit a detailed report. On receiving a report, The Additional Director Welfare, Finance and Accounts, KMC Muhammad Asif was assigned a special task to arrange for the payment of the dues. Accordingly, a cheque for Rs-949,783.43/- towards the pension dues was received and delivered personally by the Ombudsman to the complainant Muhammad Ahmadullah Khan.
