Islamabad, June 18, 2023 (PPI-OT): The spokesperson of the National Assembly has said that the news in the media that the National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf is going on Hajj this year is contrary to reality. Undoubtedly, Hajj is a sacred duty and every Muslim wishes to attend the presence of Allah as often as possible.

But in view of the budget session and other engagements, Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf currently has no such intention and if there is any progress in this regard, it will be announced in accordance with the rules. The media is requested to refrain from broadcasting the news without verification so that no misunderstanding is created.
