Karachi: In compliance with the new Sub Regulation (2) added under Chapter V in Regulation 16 of the Listing Regulations, we would like to bring to the notice of the stock exchange, a news report published in The Express Tribune during the Moharram break (copy of report attached).
We would like to inform that ICI Pakistan Limited is not aware of the future strategic plans of AkzoNobel. ICI Pakistan has already announced its intention to demerge the Paints Business, subsequent to which AkzoNobel Pakistan will be listed on the stock exchanges and pursue its own future plans independently.
