Tourist from Maharashtra Dies in Srinagar Hospital

Srinagar: Radha Krishna Goswami, a 72-year-old tourist from Maharashtra, passed away in Srinagar, the capital of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), after being admitted for treatment at a local hospital.

According to Kashmir Media Service, officials reported that Goswami fell ill while visiting Tangmarg and was initially taken to a local hospital there. Due to the severity of his condition, he was subsequently transferred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar where he succumbed to his illness.

Local police have acknowledged the incident and are currently completing the necessary medico-legal formalities. Following this, Goswami’s body will be transported back to his native village in Maharashtra. The circumstances surrounding his illness and subsequent death are being reviewed, but no further details have been disclosed at this time.
