Islamabad: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal today praised Huawei’s significant role in advancing Pakistan’s digital infrastructure, emphasizing the importance of a robust digital ecosystem to meet the contemporary digital demands of the country. He expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation from Huawei Pakistan, led by CEO Ethan Sun, which focused on several key digital initiatives, including transforming Islamabad into a model smart city.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussion also covered efforts to digitize educational infrastructure and enhance access to smart devices and connectivity for students in underprivileged areas.
