Transgender Protection Centre Hosts Focus Group to Boost Civil Rights and Representation

Islamabad: The Transgender Protection Centre, operating under the Ministry of Human Rights, recently conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) aimed at developing strategies to enhance the civil and political inclusion of transgender individuals in Pakistan. The session focused on formulating actionable recommendations to foster greater participation and representation within the community.

According to Ministry of Human Rights, the recommendations gathered during the FGD will be presented to policymakers to facilitate significant reforms. This initiative is supported by UNDP Pakistan and represents a collaborative effort to address and promote the rights and visibility of transgender people within the political and social spheres of the country.
