Karachi, United Brands Ltd (UBDL) today recorded a share price of Rs. 12.45, slightly higher than its daily weighted average rate. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), UBDL did not distribute dividends in recent years, mirroring the broader challenges in the retail sector. Since its inception on October 21, 1970, the company’s shares have seen highs and lows, peaking at Rs. 17.2 and dipping to Rs. 11 this year. Despite significant market efforts, UBDL faced a downturn with an EPS of -Rs. 1.1 for 2022/2023, highlighting its ongoing struggles in a competitive market.
