Water Supply to be reduced due to cleaning of Left Bank Cana

Islamabad: Spokesman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has informed the general public that due to de-silting / cleaning of Left Bank Canal (LBC), the supply of raw water from Khanpur Dam to Sangjani Water Treatment Plant (WTP) will remain suspended / intermittent till completion of work.

The following reduced quantity of water will be supplied to the twin cities of Rawalpindi / Islamabad uptill January 20, 2012.

For Rawalpindi 10 MGD

For Islamabad 05 MGD
