Caretaker Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs, Dr. Shamshad Akhtar held a meeting with Martin Raiser, the Vice President of the World Bank for South Asia, today, on the sidelines of Annual Meetings of World Bank, IMF in Marrakesh.
According to the Ministry of Finance social media Platform X, Dr. Shamshad Akhtar appreciated the support of World Bank in post flood rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts in Pakistan and stressed the need for continued support of WB.
The Vice President of World Bank appreciated the steps taken by Government of Pakistan in Economic stabilization and showed strong commitment from World Bank to enhance support to further strengthen Pakistan’s economic revival.
