Ziarat: In a decisive move to enhance accountability in public health services, five doctors at the district headquarters hospital in Ziarat were suspended due to their continuous absence from duty. This action follows a thorough inspection and complaint by Provincial Minister Haji Nur Muhammad Khan Damar.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, during a detailed briefing by the Medical Superintendent, Provincial Minister Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Damar was informed about ongoing issues at the hospital, including the absenteeism of key medical staff. The decision to suspend the doctors was made after a review of the hospital’s attendance records and subsequent discussions between Minister Damar and the Chief Minister of Balochistan.

The Minister also highlighted the government’s commitment to improving health services, emphasizing that operational efficiency in health and education is crucial for the welfare of the community. He further noted that all government officials must actively participate in their respective roles, stressing that neglect and absenteeism would not be tolerated. Minister Damar’s engagement with both hospital staff and patients underscores a direct approach to addressing and resolving healthcare challenges.
