Ziarat Prepares for Seventh Agricultural Census

Ziarat, The Government of Pakistan Statistics Division has announced that a nationwide agricultural census will take place, focusing on both agriculture and livestock sectors. In Ziarat district, preparations are underway to ensure that this seventh census is conducted transparently and effectively.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, a meeting led by Haji Nazir Ahmed Panizai, Deputy Director of Agriculture Extension, brought together key officials including IFA Agriculture Liaquat Ali, Live Stock Officer Dr. Safdar Ali, and DSP Ghous Bakhsh Selachi. The meeting’s primary focus was on staffing for the upcoming census, ensuring that personnel are appointed clearly and decisions are finalized.

This census is part of a broader initiative to gather detailed data on agricultural and livestock activities across the country, aiming to enhance governmental planning and support for these crucial sectors.
