2000 MWs of electricity produced through Thar’s coal project: Dastgir

Islamabad, June 22, 2023 (PPI-OT): Federal Minister for Power Khurram Dastgir Khan says two thousand megawatts of electricity has been produced through Thar’s coal project and included in the system. Addressing a news conference in Gujranwala on Thursday, he said Chinese companies will invest worth three point five billion dollars in the country which will be helpful for the promotion of nuclear energy.

Khurram Dastgir said work is in progress on more production of electricity and strengthening of its distribution system.
