Ahsan Iqbal rejects probability of delay in elections

Islamabad, June 06, 2023 (PPI-OT): Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that election would be held on time after the completion of the constitutional term of the assembly. Talking to a private news channel, he said the government would not take any undemocratic step regarding extension of its tenure.

Rejecting the probability of delay in elections, he categorically said free and fair elections will take place in October or November. He said the coalition government is focused on the economy and relief would be provided to the people in next budget.
