Al-Abbas Sugar Mills Limited Announces Board Meeting to Review Condensed Interim Financial Statements, Declares Closed Period

Karachi, Al-Abbas Sugar Mills Limited has informed stakeholders that a meeting of the Board of Directors will take place on July 25, 2023, in Karachi. The primary agenda of the meeting is to review and discuss the condensed interim financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2023, in order to determine any entitlements.

In compliance with Clause 5.6.l(d) of the PSX Regulations, Al-Abbas Sugar Mills Limited has also declared a “Closed Period” from July 18, 2023, to July 25, 2023. During this period, which includes both days inclusive, no Director, CEO, or Executive of the company is allowed to engage in any direct or indirect dealings involving the shares of the company.

The purpose of the Closed Period is to ensure fairness, transparency, and prevent any potential conflicts of interest or insider trading. It aims to maintain a level playing field for all investors and uphold the integrity of the financial markets.
