APPOINTMENT OF AMIN A. FEERASTA AS NEW CHAIRMAN OF SONERI BANK LIMITED

Karachi. Soneri Bank Limited has appointed Mr. Amin A. Feerasta as the new Chairman of the Bank, according to a statement released by the company. The announcement followed the 205th meeting of the Board of Directors held via Zoom on 06 June 2024 at 3:30pm. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Mr. Amin A. Feerasta meets the regulatory requirements of being a Non-Executive Director and has been appointed to serve for the remainder of the current term of the Board. This appointment fills the vacancy created by the death of Mr. Alauddin J. Feerasta.

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) had previously cleared Mr. Feerasta’s appointment as Executive Director on 04 June 2024, in accordance with FPT requirements. Any changes in his FPT particulars will be communicated to the concerned regulators as necessary. The IRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange have been informed of this update.
