Balochistan and Sindh Police Chiefs Address Crime and Law Order in Joint Meeting

Quetta, In a significant meeting held on May 7, 2024, IG Police Balochistan Abdul Khaliq Sheikh and IG Police Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon chaired discussions on the crime and law and order situation affecting both Balochistan and Sindh.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting involved a comprehensive review of the current law and order situation, with detailed briefings provided via video link. The discussions focused on the measures being implemented to enhance security and the performance of the police forces in both provinces.

Both IGs directed all DIGs and SSPs to thoroughly investigate the root causes of crimes in their respective jurisdictions, stressing the importance of maintaining law and order and ensuring the protection of life and property. They emphasized that safeguarding the public and ensuring the provision of basic rights and justice are paramount responsibilities of the police, advocating for the adoption of the best strategies to achieve these objectives.

The meeting reflects a collaborative approach between the two provinces to address shared security challenges and improve the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies in ensuring public safety.
