Balochistan Pensions Association Sets Election Date for August 2024

Quetta: The Balochistan Pensions Association has scheduled its triennial elections for office bearers on August 17, 2024, confirming that the vote will take place at the Association’s office located within the premises of the DC Office in Quetta. This election follows the routine schedule of holding elections every three years.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the election process will kick off with the collection of nomination papers, set to begin on August 1, 2024, and end on August 8, 2024. The candidates are to submit their papers to the Chairman of the Committee. The scrutiny of these documents is scheduled for August 12, 2024, which is also the deadline for any member or candidate to submit written objections to the Chairman.

Positions open for election include President, two Vice Presidents, General Secretary, Secretary, Treasurer, and Secretary Information. The registration fees for candidates have been set at 4,000 rupees for the President and General Secretary roles, and 2,000 rupees for all other positions.

The Association emphasizes the importance of these elections in maintaining the democratic process within the organization and ensuring that members’ needs are adequately represented and addressed.
