BISP Chairperson Advocates Inclusion of Minorities in Support Program

Islamabad: Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), has called for a more inclusive approach to address the issues faced by minorities in Pakistan, urging authorities to ensure their integration into the BISP framework.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during her visit to Pir Baba Gurdwara in Buner, Khalid met with members of the Sikh community, instructing them on how to register with BISP. She stressed the importance of including households with disabled members by obtaining a disability certificate from NADRA to prioritize their inclusion in the program.
