Body of Drowned Minor Retrieved from Jhelum River in Srinagar

Srinagar: Nine days after his disappearance, the body of a minor boy who drowned in the Jhelum River near the Habba Kadal area of Srinagar was recovered, confirmed local police.

According to Kashmir Media Service, a police official stated that Numan Gowher’s body was retrieved from the river near Chattabal Veer on Monday. The recovery operation concluded with the body being handed over to his grieving family. The police have officially acknowledged the incident and are conducting further investigations.
