Islamabad, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar stated that the initial results of recent by-elections demonstrate public confidence in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). His remarks came in a video statement on Sunday, following the conclusion of by-elections held across the country.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar noted that the by-election results indicated that the public supports PML-N’s policies. He pointed out that economic reforms under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership are expected to steer the country toward economic revival, reduce inflation, and increase foreign reserves.
The Minister emphasized that the election results reflect a rejection of the narratives presented by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), highlighting that voters have dismissed the politics of hatred and conspiracies that threaten national interests. He expressed optimism that the government’s prudent economic measures would contribute to achieving the country’s real potential.
Attaullah Tarar also praised the voters who supported PML-N for recognizing the party’s policies and for rejecting divisive politics. The by-election results, he said, validate the government’s approach and provide a foundation for continued progress.
