Caretaker Punjab CM visits different areas of Lahore, reviews drainage situation

Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited various areas of provincial metropolis and reviewed drainage situation.

Speaking on this occasion, the caretaker Punjab Chief Minister directed to utilize all resources for drainage of rainwater. He directed to increase the number of dewatering pumps for draining purpose.

He directed officials of WASA and other relevant departments to clear the drainage work at earliest. He directed Officers to remain in the field and to monitor the situation.

Mohsin Naqvi directed Chief Traffic Officer to remain in field and directed to take all necessary steps to keep the traffic flow.

He said that vehicles stuck in rainwater should be removed immediately.
