Chaman Commemorates Kashmir Exploitation Day with Ceremony and Rally

Chaman: On Kashmir Exploitation Day, the community of Chaman, led by ADC Habib Ahmad Bengalzai under directives from DC Captain R. Raja Athar Abbas, gathered at the district’s Model High School to reflect on the plight of Kashmir and voice strong opposition to Indian policies in the region.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the ceremony featured speeches from Principal Muhammad Anwar, Dr. Rafiullah, Muhammad Ali Achakzai, Shahidullah Muhammad Sail, Hameed Khan, and other notable tribal elders, educators, and students. ADC Bengalzai highlighted the significant date of August 5, 2019, when India revoked the special status of Kashmir by removing Articles 370 and 35A from its constitution, a move he described as the beginning of ongoing state atrocities against the Kashmiri people.

During his address, ADC Bengalzai condemned the resettlement strategies that involve placing extremist Hindus on Kashmiri lands, which he argued is an effort to alter the demographic and cultural landscape of the region. He called for international intervention to prevent a major conflict and ensure Kashmiris’ right to self-determination in line with United Nations resolutions.

The event also included a rally where participants carried banners and expressed their solidarity with Kashmir. The speakers and attendees affirmed that the people of Chaman stand firmly with Kashmir, committing to ongoing advocacy against Indian oppression.

The ceremony and subsequent rally reinforced the community’s dedication to supporting Kashmir and highlighted the broader regional commitment to addressing and resolving the Kashmir issue.
