Chief Justice of Pakistan withdraws nomination of acting chief election commissioner

Islamabad, November 24, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk has withdrawn the nomination of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Judge, Supreme Court of Pakistan as acting Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan w.e.f. 05.12.2014. Moreover, Secretary, Election Commission has been informed in this regard.
