According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the Chief Minister conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the family of the martyred Sub Inspector and has promptly requested a comprehensive report from the Inspector General of Police. She has ordered a thorough investigation into the incident, which involved the officer being fatally shot by unidentified assailants. Sharif has directed the police to ensure that those responsible are apprehended and face the full force of the law.

The Chief Minister’s directive underscores the government’s commitment to law enforcement and the safety of its officers, reflecting an urgent response to an act of violence against police personnel.
