Islamabad: The Child Protection Institute of the Ministry of Human Rights marked World Children’s Day 2024 with a significant initiative aimed at safeguarding children’s rights. In collaboration with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), the institute successfully registered over 100 children in the Bari Imam area, providing them with the essential right to identity and access to critical services such as education and healthcare.
According to Ministry of Human Rights, the launch of the Mobile Registration Van Campaign further bolsters this mission by offering birth registration services to underserved communities throughout Islamabad. The campaign is designed to ensure that more children can have their births officially registered, which is a fundamental step in securing their rights. “Birth registration is a cornerstone for securing children’s rights,” said the Director General of the Child Protection Institute. The initiative underscores a commitment to fostering a better future for every child by enhancing access to necessary services.
